FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Elaine Shiu Yin Ning's "Blending Soul" fashion jewellery collection draws inspiration from the Forbidden City in Beijing, China, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern design. The collection features 3D-printed 925 silver with 22K gold plating, showcasing a unique blend of ancient meanings with a contrasting vivid blue background, symbolizing the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures.
The 5cm x 6cm jewellery pieces are a representation of the designer's visit to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China, where she found inspiration for the collection. The product was completed in Italy in July 2019 and exhibited at various international fashion events, including New York Fashion Week.
Elaine Shiu utilized Italian 3D printing technology to create a modern Chinese knot design, incorporating the golden pattern to symbolize ancient meanings. The collection successfully achieved the purpose of blending Chinese and Western cultures, receiving high recommendations from media and being chosen by the Chinese government for a prominent cultural event.
