UNITED STATES OF AMERICA -- /FASHION/newswire -- Jul 25, 2021

Introducing "Nostalgia Moon", a collection designed by Chelsea Shin, inspired by cherished memories and the phases of the moon, culminating in a unique and emotional wearable art experience.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chelsea Shin's "Nostalgia Moon" Collection

Designer Chelsea Shin's "Nostalgia Moon" collection is a poignant tribute to her grandmother, capturing the emotional journey of prayers and memories under the night sky. The garments, designed in three dimensions, reflect the softness and delicacy of the moon, incorporating circles and flexible boning to evoke the lunar essence.

Starting in August 2020 in South Korea and completed in May 2021 in New York, the collection presents a fusion of creativity and craftsmanship, overcoming challenges to bring a unique vision to life.

Printed and photographed by Jay Lim, the collection features distinctive pieces such as "Ylang Ylang (The Starry Night)" and "Man in The New Moon", each capturing the essence of the moon's phases and emotional resonance.

Chelsea Shin, born in South Korea and educated at Parsons School of Design in New York City, brings a global perspective to her designs. Her focus on new silhouettes and craftsmanship has earned her the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing her outstanding and creatively ingenious designs.
