FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Roman Zelenin's Elysium is a breathtaking decorative figurine that embodies the delicate balance of nature, art, and technology. Inspired by the symbolism of a hummingbird, the project showcases the perspectives of lab-grown diamonds and 3D printing in the sphere of luxury jewelry. The figurine, standing on a dramatic black finish, features a hummingbird drinking nectar from a flower, symbolizing the fragility and balance of the planet's health.
The project, which started in 2018 and was completed in August 2019, made its debut at the Vicenzaoro International Jewelry Show in September 2019. The figurine, meticulously crafted with 31 unique parts, is a testament to Zelenin's innovative approach to jewelry design and production.
The figurine, made of silver with lab-grown gemstones, weighs 110 grams and stands at 116mm x 116mm x 165mm. It features a patented technology of direct casting, enabling accurate shape geometry and plasticity, with a metal thickness of 0.35mm. The intricate design incorporates 1848 gems, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
