Larisa Zolotova's 3D Visualization of Victoria Calvatone

Larisa Zolotova's 3D visualization project brings to life the ancient Roman Victoria Calvatone statue, which was discovered in the 19th century in the village of Calvatone in Lombardy, Italy. The statue, believed to depict the goddess Victoria, was found broken into three pieces and later restored with the addition of wings by German restorers. Zolotova's project aims to represent the statue within a unique Roman atmosphere, paying homage to its historical significance and the victory of co-emperors Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus over barbarian tribes.

The 3D visualization project utilized cutting-edge technology, including scanning, 3D animation, modeling, simulation, and rendering software, to create a true-to-life representation of the bronze statue.
