Crafted from 18k gold and adorned with an array of sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds, the Mandarinfish pendant showcases a spectrum of radiant hues reminiscent of the fish's natural beauty. The gemstones are meticulously micro-set to reflect vitality, good fortune, and the fluid motion of the mandarin fish's curved fins and arching tail. The pendant's versatility allows it to be worn as a brooch, further enhancing its appeal as a unisex accessory. The technical realization involved advanced 3D modeling in MatrixGold, followed by 3D printing, casting, and selective electroplating, ensuring both precision and durability.

Moradi's research-driven approach included a detailed study of the mandarin fish's unique characteristics and the use of the Delphi method to refine the design concept. Overcoming the challenge of translating the fish's vivid coloration into a harmonious jewelry pattern, the final piece not only serves as an exquisite adornment but also as a talisman of positive energy and a tribute to the natural world. The Mandarinfish pendant's recognition with the Iron A' Design Award highlights its innovative integration of artistry, symbolism, and technical excellence within the field of jewelry design.
