Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC) has achieved a major milestone in textile innovation with the launch of FENC LoopFlex, a spandex-free, mono-material stretch fabric that has earned the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2025. Developed in Taiwan and set for global release, FENC LoopFlex addresses the urgent need for sustainable alternatives in the rapidly growing sports and leisure wear market. By eliminating spandex and utilizing advanced polyester elastomer technology, the fabric enables true textile-to-textile recycling, significantly reducing waste and environmental impact.

FENC LoopFlex is engineered using TPEE chips through a solvent-free melt extrusion process, resulting in high-performance polyester elastomer yarns. These are intricately knitted with regular polyester filaments to create a fabric that delivers 2-3 times the power stretch of conventional spandex blends, while maintaining superior comfort, support, and durability. The mono-material construction not only simplifies recycling but also supports a circular economy, making it an ideal choice for eco-conscious brands and consumers.

Designed for versatility, FENC LoopFlex is suitable for a wide range of applications, including sportswear, leisurewear, and underwear.
