Mehragin Rahmati's "Spring Dance" necklace has captured top honors at the 2025 A' Design Award, earning the Platinum distinction in the Jewelry Design category. The piece, conceived and crafted in Dubai from June to September 2024, stands out for its remarkable versatility-transforming seamlessly into a tiara, two pendant styles, two necklace forms, and a ring. Drawing inspiration from the elegance of ballet and the fluidity of ribbon dance, the design tells a poetic story of a ballerina's journey and the blossoming of love, reflected in the necklace's delicate motifs and pastel hues.

What sets "Spring Dance" apart is its mechanical ingenuity and artistic detail. The necklace features a spinning ballerina and a mechanically blooming flower, both brought to life through intricate handcrafting, enameling, and the use of springs. Each element is designed for effortless transformation, thanks to precisely engineered locks and connections that allow wearers to adapt the piece for any occasion. The use of enameling not only achieves a vibrant color palette but also ensures a cost-effective and eco-friendly approach to high jewelry.

The development of "Spring Dance" involved extensive research and technical innovation. Rahmati and her team created multiple prototypes to perfect the flexible ribbon curves, tested various color combinations for the enameling, and meticulously engineered the internal mechanisms for the moving components. Overcoming challenges such as micro-level precision in locking systems and the complexity of enameling curved surfaces, the final piece exemplifies both technical mastery and artistic vision. The necklace's recognition with the Platinum A' Design Award underscores its contribution to advancing the boundaries of jewelry design, art, and technology.
