FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bruce Tao introduces Changer, a groundbreaking luggage design inspired by the adaptability of armor stacking and the experience of travel. The Changer luggage is uniquely designed to change its size, seamlessly transforming from a small carry-on to a large suitcase, catering to diverse travel requirements.
The Changer luggage is crafted using ABC+PC material, ensuring impact resistance, high hardness, and strong toughness, while maintaining an affordable price point. The incorporation of aluminum metal at the corners provides additional protection, enhancing the durability of the luggage.
Featuring dimensions of 34.4cm x 23cm x 56.8cm before transformation, the Changer luggage can be resized to 48.4cm x 31cm x 76.8cm after folding, offering a versatile solution for varying storage needs.
Designed to address the common issue of carrying different quantities of luggage for various travel purposes, the Changer luggage offers a practical and efficient solution, minimizing unnecessary waste and meeting market demands.
The Changer luggage project commenced in September 2020 in Milan and concluded in February 2021, with an exhibition in China during the same month. The design process involved overcoming challenges related to the complex internal structure and machining qualification rate, resulting in the successful realization of this innovative concept.
Bruce Tao, a distinguished designer committed to advancing industrial design in China, has been recognized with over 100 design awards both domestically and internationally.
