Marilyn Bracelet: Recycled 14 Carat Gold Jewelry Set

Anna-Reetta Väänänen's Marilyn Bracelet is a flowy and showy jewelry set, expressing curls and wind by the beach, made from recycled non-plated 14 carat gold. The bracelet is well-fitted and comfortable to wear, suitable for events and fine occasions.

The Marilyn Bracelet is made using lost wax casting and traditional goldsmith techniques, with a polished surface. The original 3D model was crafted from paper and silver. With dimensions of 68mm in width, 68mm in height, and 35mm in depth, the bracelet is designed to follow the user's movements and fit the shape of the wrist and bone structure.

The project, which began in January 2020 and concluded in February 2024 in Sonkajarvi, Finland, was aimed at creating a luxury, flowy design that embodies Marilyn Monroe's character and makes the wearer feel confident and beautiful at formal or semi-formal events.

The main challenge of the design project was to infuse a light and luxurious feeling into the celebrity-inspired jewelry, capturing Marilyn's personality and expressing movement. The jewelry set is also available in matte silver and includes a necklace and earrings, inspired by Marilyn Monroe's photos taken by the sea between 1949-1962.

Anna-Reetta Väänänen, based in Sonkajarvi, Finland, is the creative mind behind the Marilyn Bracelet. Her brand, Anna's Darling, reflects her mission to create meaningful and long-lasting jewelry, combining old goldsmith techniques and 3D printing to achieve classic lines and new design. The jewelry is inspired by nature and the countryside, reflecting the clean waters, forests, and fields of Upper-Savo, Finland.
